I was driving home from a family gathering at my sister’s house several weeks ago and experienced an intense interaction I have not stopped thinking about.

Called To Be Uncomfortable
I enjoy Holy Week. My favorite day to attend church besides Easter is on Maundy (or Holy) Thursday, which I experienced for the first time in the late 1990s.
Are You Ready to Reset?
I remember when I was growing up, during lunch recess we would often play football outside the school. We would eat lunch as quickly as we could so we could get outside with as much time left in the lunch period as possible to get in a game of touch football. What Trail Will You Leave?
I recently read the devotional with my children, “On the Trail,” from How Great Is Our God by Louie Giglio and Tama Fortner, and I thought it was too cute and quite appropriate to title this blog post similarly. I have MANY favorite music-related things. One of my favorite movie musicals is The Greatest Showman. It is full of good music, great acting, and an awesome story. Recently, I decided to re-watch it, and my daughter Allison joined me. Afterward, she told me how much she liked it, so I added the soundtrack to my music streaming app, and we have been listening to it in the car. I found it funny that for as many times as I have seen the movie, I didn’t catch the underlying message of the songs until I was just hearing the lyrics without the video.
